The Eyeopener is Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU)’s independent, student-run news publication.

As a current writer for the sports section, I attend TMU Bold men’s and women’s hockey games and take insightful notes throughout all three periods in order to create a full recap after the game. Writing for The Eyeopener has remarkably improved my sports writing and journalism abilities, as well as both my in-person and Zoom interviewing skills.
